With the rapid growth of the Southeast Asian palm industry, massive quantities of palm fiber and residue are generated annually. Amidst tightening environmental regulations, processing this waste into organic fertilizer has become a mainstream trend. Huaqiang Heavy Industry’s 5-ton-per-hour powdered organic fertilizer production line has commenced operations in Pahang, Malaysia. The facility features a comprehensive process flow—comprising a loader feeding hopper, chain crusher, automatic batching system, double-shaft paddle mixer, drum screener, and packaging machine—serving as a benchmark project for converting palm solid waste into fertilizer overseas.

The loader feeding hopper facilitates rapid feeding of bulk fermented palm residue, ensuring continuous production; the chain crusher is specifically designed to handle long palm fibers, effectively preventing material entanglement and clogging; the automatic batching system ensures strict adherence to fertilizer formulas; the double-shaft paddle mixer guarantees uniform material blending; the drum screener controls the fineness and quality of the final product; and the packaging machine automates the bagging process. The entire process eliminates the granulation and drying stages, thereby reducing investment costs and simplifying operation and maintenance; it is ideally suited for integration into palm processing facilities.
Operations at the Pahang site demonstrate that the equipment is well-suited to local high-temperature, high-humidity conditions, running stably with an actual output of 5 tons per hour. This setup not only properly disposes of industrial palm waste—mitigating environmental risks associated with stockpiling or incineration—but also produces powdered organic fertilizer for nearby oil palm and tropical crop plantations. This lowers fertilizer procurement costs for growers, delivering both economic and environmental benefits.
