What equipment is included in a organic fertilizer production line?

2026/02/02

Organic fertilizer production is key to the resource utilization of livestock manure, crop straw, and other waste materials. A complete organic fertilizer production line requires a full range of equipment, covering raw material processing, fermentation and maturation, deep processing, and finished product packaging.  Each piece of equipment works in synergy to ensure that the organic fertilizer meets quality standards and is produced efficiently.

Raw material pretreatment equipment is the starting point of production, and the core components include crushing equipment, mixing equipment, and screening equipment. Crushing equipment is used to break down bulky raw materials such as straw and branches into suitable particle sizes for subsequent fermentation; mixing equipment can uniformly mix livestock manure, crushed raw materials, and microbial agents and regulators to adjust the carbon-nitrogen ratio and moisture content; screening equipment removes impurities such as stones and metals from the raw materials to prevent damage to subsequent equipment.
Fermentation and maturation equipment is the core of organic fertilizer production, with trough-type turning machines and crawler-type turning vehicles being the mainstream. Trough-type turning machines are suitable for large-scale production, achieving ventilation and oxygen supply and controlling fermentation temperature through regular turning of raw materials to accelerate maturation; crawler-type turning vehicles are self-propelled equipment, using tracks for movement, adapting to muddy and sloped terrain, and do not require pre-set fermentation tanks, offering great flexibility. They can simultaneously complete material turning, mixing, and crushing, optimizing the aerobic fermentation environment, shortening the maturation cycle, and reducing the production of malodorous gases. They are suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises, outdoor composting, or production scenarios with non-fixed sites, ensuring thorough maturation of raw materials and killing pathogens and insect eggs.
Deep processing equipment is used to improve the appearance and stability of organic fertilizer, mainly including crushing equipment, granulation equipment, and drying equipment. Secondary crushing equipment refines the matured material, improving uniformity and preparing it for granulation; organic fertilizer granulation machines can produce granular organic fertilizer, which is convenient for subsequent transportation and application. Common types include disc granulators and extrusion granulators; drying equipment is used to remove excess moisture from the granulated material, preventing mildew during storage and improving particle hardness, ensuring product quality.
Finished product post-processing and packaging equipment is the final stage, including screening equipment, cooling equipment, and automatic packaging machines. Secondary screening removes unqualified particles, ensuring uniform particle size in the finished product; cooling equipment lowers particle temperature to prevent clumping after packaging; and automatic packaging machines provide precise weighing and sealing, improving packaging efficiency and standardizing product specifications.
The configuration of the entire system needs to be flexibly adjusted based on production scale, raw material type, and finished product requirements.  A rational combination of organic fertilizer production equipment can improve production efficiency and produce high-quality organic fertilizer, contributing to the development of ecological and circular agriculture.
